ANTONIO CROMARTIE: DARRELLE REVIS IS ONLY CB BETTER THAN ME

Antonio Cromartie doesn't have any problem with everyone in football saying that Darrelle Revis is the game's best cornerback.
But they better slide his name in at the No. 2 spot.
And for Cromartie, that means he's now the NFL's best cornerback, given that his teammate Revis is out for the season with a torn ACL.
Asked by the New York Daily News if any CB besides Revis was better than him Cromartie answered with an assured "None."
“I have said that I’m the second-best corner in the NFL,” Cromartie said. “I’m not backing off what I said. I don’t care what anyone else believes... It’s my confidence in myself. I know what I’m capable of when I'm at the top of my game.
The pressure will be on Cromartie to live up to that self-promotion on Sunday when the Jets will be at home and facing a San Francisco 49ers receiving corps that includes Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree, Mario Manningham and Randy Moss.
Cromartie returned an interception for a touchdown in the season opener against Buffalo. According to Pro Football Focus, so far this season opposing quarterbacks has a 47.4% completion rate against him and a 69.6 passer rating. He leads the Jets with four passes defensed.
And just to make sure there's no question his confidence is as high as ever, Cromartie finished up by telling the Daily News that, "I think I've been playing at a Pro Bowl level so far."
Chris Jones Revis is gone now so it's CromArtie's time to shine
